Oh.. Yes of course. That explains this bug quite nicely.

I thought I had a work around for this, but I guess it doesn't work.
Someone changed the ISO file system driver basically so that directories
are not returned entirely the same between the two kernels. I don't know
exactly what that change is.

I think it will just have to be documented and closed - there is not much
I can do about it.
