Debian is still incompatible with Dell XPi Laptops
Just a reminder: Debian doesn't work on Dell laptops. bzimage kernels
do not boot on them (the loader reboots the machine as soon as the
kernel is loaded). This also precludes using "kernel-package", since
it generates bzimage kernels.
Is there any reason to use bzimage kernels? Are our kernels large
enough to require it?
(This problem bit me again today because I was trying to replace a
working Red Hat 4.8 installation on my laptop with Debian.)
