emacs19: new maintainer sought
emacs19 is big, complex, has open bugs, and needs more attention than
I have time to give it... anyone interested? I can give a fair
amount of handholding to anyone who takes it over, but it is
definitely not a beginner's project; you'll have to understand why (and
how) I don't strip the executable, for example.
I'm posting here because someone with the time to keep up with
debian-devel (or the effective reading practices to do so) is more
likely to be organized enough, or have enough time, to do it justice.
There isn't a rush here, but I thought I'd try and hand this off
*before* any release crunch happenned...
