Yes, after native-install one reboot is recommended.

ae gets confused when editing after a displayed overlong line. It's an ae
bug.

It does, but probably not the version in the ftp archive. Brent posted an
URL some time ago. Or use nvi until I uploaded a fixed vim.

that's bogus, the file is saved anyway. Another ae bug.
