No, that is not sufficient. If you uploaded both together it'd fail, you have to explicitly tell buildd to wait for that version.
Well, what I meant was that the build error will fix itself in a couple of hours.

To be more clear, I was just telling you the reason of the failure that you pasted in the above email, which was kinda self-explanatory.
I know why it failed. I did not want to tell him how to fix it, I wanted him to find the answer himself.
When a package is ready for upload, it should not fail like that.
