System Crashes at Random Times

I am running Debian 0.93R6 on a 100P Micron with and Etherlink III card.
The system hangs from time to time with no apparent pattern --- different
applications (pine, Netscape, Maple) and sometimes when I'm not even in
the office and nothing is running. My guess is that the problem is
connected to the ethernet and/or Etherlink III card because I've
unplugged the ethernet connection for extended periods of time and never
have a problem when it's not connected. Here are the messages from
/var/adm/messages for the last two crashes:

I don't know how to interpret these messages or where to go from here. Could
anyone give me a push in the right direction?

Also, is the Etherlink III card a reasonable one to be using? Is there a
recommended card for Linux/Debian?

Thanks,
Dan
