There are enough 'shovel-ware' cd vendors out there right now who do
this sort of thing. Let Walnut Creek Cdrom or Informagic know about
the Project Gutenberg and they would shovel it on a $24.99 cd. Debian
doesn't have to do this.

We don't need OCR fanatics to scan anything. Project Gutenberg has
about 400MB compressed of Public Domain literature waiting to be
packaged. This would add a good 800MB (source+binary packages) to
Debian.
