So if I'm reading this right, the problem with Red Hat's setup was thiat it
did "route add -net 127.0.0.1", but the -net really shouldn't be there. 

So, any idea if simply "route add 127.0.0.1" is ok to use? It doesn't seem
to have broken anything yet here, but it pays to be safe..
