【DzongkhaLinux 启动】 Debian 计划宣布释出 DzongkhaLinux，一个基于 Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 的发行版，已经被本地化为不丹国语。这个系统由一片可以用来安装亦可以当作 LiveCD 的光盘组成。不丹的信息工业部门选择 Debian 是 因为它的功能齐全、可靠度和保证永远是 100% 的自由软件。
【统一 SSL 证书】 Jaldhar Vyas 想知道 是否应该让所有使用到 SSL 认证的软件包统一使用 ssl-cert 软件包中的 snake oil 证书。Petter Reinholdtsen 解释说 Debian-Edu 已经自动设定好一些使用 SSL 认证的服务，这样的改变会让这个工作更简单。
【处理 Stable 中的文件问题】 Osamu Aoki 要求
替臭虫追踪系统增加 faq 标签。很多时候关于 stable 的臭虫回报是
属于常被问的问题，解答却是被藏在不明显的位置。关闭这样的报告或是将其标示为
wontfix 听起来不甚合理。
【管理计划的资产】 Manoj Srivastava 提出 针对 Debian 组织章程的修正案并寻求协助。这将使章程符合现在的需求以及管理各种财产的需要，允许加入或除去现在授权可以掌握 Debian 资产的合伙组织。
【软件包追踪系统升级】 Raphaël Hertzog 报告现在软件包追踪系统可以用来转送衍生发行版的信息。这使得对软件包有兴趣的人可以收到个别的小补钉，而不是合在一起的一大坨补钉。此外他也在征求对新功能的帮助。
【释出现况更新】 Marc Brockschmidt 对于 etch释出现况所作的评论。他澄清释出目标的意思并且要求开发者们努力降低影响到释出进度的重大 问题数量。臭虫碾碎派对将在世界各地举行。即将释出的版本将使用 4.0 版号，并且可能会包含 Python 2.4、Linux 2.6.17 或更新、X.org 和 大部分 sarge 支持的平台加上 AMD64。
【结束 /usr/doc 过渡期】 Amaya Rodrigo Sastre 要求
一个半自动的方法再一次测试软件包库以确定没有任何软件包安装符号链接至
/usr/doc。Stefan Hühner
建议使用现有的
lintian 检查。Joey Hess
证实这正是当初他用来回报臭虫的方法，Luk Claes
补充说 piuparts 也对这样的检查很有帮助。
【Debian Installer 释出 Beta 3】 Frans Pop 宣布 debian-installer 的第三个 beta 版已经释出， Linux 2.6.16 已经包含在在 etch。他解释安装程序要求更多内存是因为加上了加密支持，这会在 beta 之后继续改进， 另外一个原因就是支持更多的语言。
【标示加强过的 CD/DVD】 Radu-Cristian Fotescu
想知道如何标示以凸显出加强过的 sarge CD 不是官方原始的版本。MJ Ray 指出
官方的标记只能用在官方的 CD 上，而改变过的 CD 应该标示为非官方
